Privacy policy

How Nuvouch collects, uses, shares, and protects information across the website, mobile app, APIs, approval requests, devices, and integrations.

Overview

This policy explains how Nuvouch ("Nuvouch", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, use the Nuvouch mobile app, connect a device, approve or deny requests, use our APIs, or otherwise interact with our services.

Nuvouch helps people review sensitive actions before they are completed by connected apps and services. If a third-party app sends a request to Nuvouch, that third party may also process your information under its own privacy policy.

Information we collect

Account and profile information. We collect details such as your name, email address, organization, account settings, and communications with us.

Authentication information. We process sign-in details, session records, email verification status, and information needed to protect accounts from abuse. If you use Google sign-in, Google also processes that sign-in under its own terms and privacy policy.

Device and security information. We collect device name, platform, app instance identifiers, public keys, device-attestation results, push notification tokens, IP-derived approximate location, timestamps, logs, and similar technical data needed to secure and operate Nuvouch.

Approval and connection records. We collect request details shown to you in the app, including source, action type, amount or description where provided, risk signals, decision history, connected services, runtime/account access status, and audit records.

Billing and support information. If you use paid or business features, we may process billing identifiers, plan information, invoices, and support messages. Payment processors handle payment details under their own terms.

Website and operational data. We may collect basic website usage data, cookies, diagnostics, error logs, and analytics needed to understand, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide Nuvouch, authenticate users, register trusted devices, send approval and security notifications, show request history, maintain audit trails, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, improve the product, provide support, process billing where applicable, comply with law, and communicate with you about service or account matters.

We do not use approval contents or decision history for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

Biometrics and device security

Nuvouch may ask your device to use Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint unlock, passcode, or another local security prompt before registering a device or approving sensitive actions. Those biometric checks are handled by your device operating system. Nuvouch does not receive or store your fingerprint, face scan, biometric template, or device passcode.

Sharing

We share personal information only as needed to provide and protect Nuvouch, including with hosting providers, database and storage providers, email providers, push notification services, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics or diagnostics providers, and professional advisers. These providers are expected to protect personal information consistently with this policy.

We may share information with connected apps or organizations when you connect them to Nuvouch, respond to their requests, or ask us to complete an integration flow. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and preserve audit history. Approval, connection, and security logs may be retained longer than ordinary account settings because they help users and connected organizations understand past decisions. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it where practicable.

Your choices

You can choose whether to enable push notifications, connect services, register devices, or use third-party sign-in options. You can also revoke connected access where the product provides that control.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. Contact us at [email protected] to make a request.

You can also use our account deletion request page to request deletion of your account and associated data.

Privacy signals and tracking

Nuvouch is not designed to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and request permission where required. Your App Store privacy label should be read together with this policy because it summarizes the categories of data the app may collect.

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal data across borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law.

Children

Nuvouch is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging, and device-bound security features. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond to issues responsibly.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
